The news is out! I'm going to be an aunt!
Baby Skoglund will be here in August 2023!
As you can imagine, being blessed with the honor of taking my sister and brother-in-law's pregnancy announcement photos has been one of the highlights of my photography career! (Even if it WAS in the middle of the winter and we were stuck indoors)
Out of four sisters, I'm the oldest and was the first to be a mom, but the last to be an aunt. It's about time!
Gender Reveal!
The wait seemed excruciatingly long, but last week they (FINALLY) had their gender reveal ultrasound and I took my lunch break from work to run to my mom's to meet them when they got back. I swear I got every red light on the way there. I could not drive fast enough. We all put our wager in of what we thought it was going to be. Wipes lined up for a girl vote and packs of diapers for a boy vote. My vote was for a girl.
We could barely contain ourselves as we waited to see what they were going to do. They had a gift bag set up on the table for the reveal. We were on the edge of our seats.
It's a boy!
They reached inside the bag and pulled out a tiny camo onesie!! IT'S A BOY!!
Needless to say, I am SO excited for another boy to be added to the family. We're definitely making up for my mom having all girls by having all boys of our own! I can't wait until he's old enough to pack him full of sugar and send him back home with the loudest, most obnoxious toys I can find at the store! I hope they're ready for some well-earned payback!
